I like the idea of changing up the meeting location. I think this will give more people the chance to attend if they live too far from concord.

Depending on the date, I'll definitely try to make it! Especially since I need to go a little farther north soon to visit some friends!

Depends on the date, but Sac would work for me, it's farther than Concord, but still ok.

NorCal! Your turn, again.

Time to start planning for our next meeting.

If anyone has some good ideas for a venue in the Sacramento area, let's hear it. I'll be looking, but I can use everyone's eyes and ears, so put out your feelers and give me a heads up if you find a good location to hold our next meeting. Let's try for the Sacramento area, and see what we get.

Let's do it!

How's late June sound?

I'm out of town last week of June/first week July, but any other time in June works. If I hear of a good place to meet I'll send you a pm Edgar.

Saturday June 19th would rock!  Works according to Laurie and Eddie, and presumably Kayla, Austin, MikeM, and Vicente too.  I've penciled it into my calendar.  Plant a seed and they will grow...

p.s. it wouldn't compete with the San Diego show which is June 26-27.
p.s.2 it also wouldn't directly compete with Father's Day June 20th, but it could help to get the paternal ones a kitchen pass since it is the day before Father's Day.

Just realized we've got the Summer Solstice music festival 6/18-6/19 (yes, we're old hippies ).  I'm sure there won't be a date that will work for everyone, but I'd really like to attend my first CRIS meeting if at all possible...  If we can find a date that works for everyone, I'd be happy to volunteer my home as a location.  Guess I should find out how many show up for these things first...

Argh. The San Diego show (aka the "ball python show")...is anyone from up here going to it? In the past when I've gone, there were only a few people there I knew, mostly people who were serious breeders, not hobbyists. Thanks for the reminder, even though I have no plans on going this year. I can make the 19th if necessary, although I will probably be seriously jet lagged. I'm down with the 26th, if it works for everyone else. Some families go out of town for Father's Day weekend, so there might be a conflict for that whole weekend. Either way, hanging with you guys works for me. But don't put a date on your calendar yet, until the powers that be decide for certain. Officers will have to consider locations available on those dates, and costs.
